All visitors reach Koh Tao by boat, arriving at Mae Haad Pier. Truck taxis run from the pier towards Sairee, or you can walk between Mae Haad and Sairee on the flat brick path along the shore, a journey of about 15 minutes. Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier is 1.9 km from the hotel. Free private parking is available on site for travellers arriving by road once on the island. There is no airport on Koh Tao, so ferry connections are the final stage of the journey.

For a view over the coast, Coconut Viewpoint is 1.3 km away. Ao Hat Sai Ri is 600 m away, while Nangyuan Island is 2.9 km from the hotel; long-tail boats from Sairee make the short island trip. Diving is a major activity on Koh Tao, with sites including Chumphon Pinnacle, White Rock and Japanese Gardens. The west coast is generally the calmer side from November to March, while whale sharks are most often seen around the island in March to May and September to October.
